The instructions for Movicore silicone pads specify hand-washing with water and mild soap. Let them dry before storage. Gentle handling matters too: avoid pulling on the ring or toe separators.
This guide concerns the Movicore model. To compare formats, see the differences between pads, separators and insoles.
Washing step by step
Prepare water, mild soap and a clean drying surface. Hold the broad part of the pad rather than one of its thin sections.
- Check both pads. Examine the ring, separators and joining points. Do not pull on a tear to test its strength.
- Wash by hand. Gently clean both sides and between the separators without twisting or stretching the silicone.
- Rinse the soap away. Support the pad in your hand rather than hanging it from a separator.
- Let it dry. Check the joins between thin sections and the cushioning as well.
Washable and reusable does not mean compatible with every cleaning method. Do not substitute a machine cycle or a treatment not included in the instructions.
Drying and storage
Lay the pads flat on a clean surface until dry. Do not wring them out or hang them by the ring. The included resealable bag should also be clean and dry. Make sure the closure does not catch any thin section.
Inside a larger bag, protect the pads from keys, zips and other objects that could catch the separators.
Gentle fitting and removal
- Putting them on: check orientation and guide the toes gently. Stop and check positioning if you have to force an opening.
- Trying them: start briefly and do not continue with pressure or discomfort.
- Taking them off: release the toes gradually while supporting the silicone instead of pulling the whole pad away at once.
Check toe-box space when using shoes. One size does not mean stretching the product to make it fit.
What to check before reuse
Once clean and dry, examine both sides and the joins. Replace a torn or damaged pad. The product page does not establish a universal lifespan or wash count, so check condition rather than relying on a calendar.
Common questions
Can I use the washing machine?
The stated method is hand-washing with water and mild soap.
Can I store them straight after washing?
Wait until completely dry and check that the bag closure does not trap the thin sections.
How often should I wash them?
No single frequency is specified. Check cleanliness after use and wash as needed. Before the next use, make sure the pads are dry and intact.
What if a separator tears?
Do not pull it further or force the pad. Replace the damaged accessory.
One pair contains two pads, one for each foot, and a resealable bag. Find current instructions on the product page.
